Cottage Knockers

This is a very traditional knocker, it’s normally found on country cottage doors. Moreover, these knockers were also used on bedroom doors to avoid any embarrassment and of course for decoration.
Supplied in both solid brass or black, complete with two screws.

A very popular knocker, with the hunting and countryside fraternity, found on both homes and often used on stable doors also. It dates back to the 17th Century and would have been a notice to anyone calling, that the house holder was etched involved in hunting or of coarse loved the countryside generation.
